HP January 2023 BIOS refresh (for 2019 desktop PCs)

Effective February 14, 2023, HP is enhancing the BIOS on the HP 2019 desktop PCs.

The new software and BIOS updates are available for download from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page after the effective date.

HP EliteDesk 800 G5 TWR/800 G5 SFF System BIOS has the following enhancements added:

Fixes an issue when the BIOS Administrator password/Power on password can be accepted if the password length is less than minimum length of the password.

Updates the basic HP PC Hardware Diagnostics utility to 2.3.1.0.

Fixes issue when the Wireless IP address shows 0.0.0.0 in WebUI when DMA Protection is checked in F10.

Enhancement to address security vulnerability CVE-2022-43778.
